Authenticating your software

Some farm software types require an additional step to connect with MSC: entering an authentication property. This property is used to identify and authorize your farm on the software provider’s platform, and is essential for extracting your data so it can be used in MSC.

Unfortunately, we do not have access to the authentication property details for every software type. In many cases, you will need to retrieve this property yourself. If you're unsure how to do this, we recommend contacting your software provider or consultant for assistance.

For a limited number of software types, we are able to provide specific instructions to help you locate and enter the required authentication property.

Software-specific instructions

DTM

Company name: Dinamica Generale

Required property: Company Code

Where to find it: You can find the DTM company code in the top header of your DTM dashboard. It’s located at the top right corner, directly under your farm name. In the below example, 'Example Farm' is the farm name, and '/ABC123' is the company code you need.

Example format: 345I8TEST
